Scimitar 140

The Scimitar 140 is a 5.5 inch, 11.5 gram straight slug type lure with a split tail At the centre of this design is an engineered flex zone positioned ahead of the decoupled tail section (via a ridge) which allows the rear half of the body to kick at low-medium retrieve speeds. I did not want this to be erratic at all retrieve speeds, ultra low-low speeds means that tail has a very minute wobble perfect for slowing things down at night which we found bass absolutely hammer it. Ramping up the speeds that tail starts kicking side to side and is a super close match to a fleeing sandeel.

As with all our designs rigging versatility is at the fore front. The Scimitar allows anglers to rig whichever way they want, J Hook, Weedless Jighead, Weighted Hook, Weightless (for when subtlety is needed). The lure uses a very similar attachement point as the Lance & Sabre meaning all your favourite terminal tackle are compatible with this lure (attachment point closest in size and thickness to a Sabre 130).
